Since 1999, ProActive Rehab has provided physiotherapy, massage therapy, and aquatic therapy to the people of Muskoka. In 2025 we were acquired by Martel + Mitchell Rehabilitation of North Bay with an investment to grow our team and update our facility.

Physiotherapist

ProActive Rehab has an immediate opening for a full-time Physiotherapist. New grads are welcome and will be supported through the residency process. Expectations of the position

Full licence for Independent Practice with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Provide assessment and treatment for any and all conditions that may present to the clinic within scope of practice and skill set of a physiotherapist.
Complete all written reports, including WSIB and MVA forms, to the standard and time frame established by the clinic.
Adhere to standards and regulations set out by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Attend relevant postgraduate education courses to expand knowledge and skill set.
Request consultation with another physiotherapist when help or a second opinion may be required.

Occupational Therapist

This is can be part-time or full-time with opportunities for partial remote work. The Occupational Therapist will assess and treat clients to improve their daily functioning and overall quality of life. The OT will work with our interdisciplinary team to assess and implement therapy plans related to mental health and physical disability. The role also involves report preparation, liaising with referral sources, and engaging in client and caregiver education. The OT will be supported by our Occupational Therapy team at our parent company, Martel + Mitchell Rehabilitation.

Qualifications

Experience or strong interest in mental health and occupational health
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
Time management and organizational abilities for handling a diverse caseload
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques including psychoeducation, CBT, and concussion management
Current registration and valid license with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
A bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience in a multidisciplinary or clinical environment is beneficial
