ProActive Rehab is growing, and we're seeking dedicated professionals to join our team across a variety of healing modalities. We are looking for qualified practitioners in chiropractic care, acupuncture, psychology, nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and other related disciplines. We are currently hiring a Registered Massage Therapist, a Physiotherapist, and a Physiotherapy Resident.

Since 1999, ProActive Rehab has provided physiotherapy, massage therapy, aquatherapy, persistent pain treatment and concussion therapy to clients from all over our region. ProActive’s interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to help our clients in all aspects of their physical recovery, with the goal of restoring healthy and active lifestyles. ProActive’s bright, open concept 3000 sq. ft. treatment space provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for staff and clients, and is fully equipped with high-quality, comprehensive exercise equipment and the latest in healing treatments including laser, ultrasound and acupuncture.

ProActive Rehab has an immediate opening for a full-time Massage Therapist. New grads are welcome and will be supported through the residency process. ProActive Rehab offers a competitive compensation package, benefits, a developed mentorship program, opportunities for ongoing education, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and a busy appointment schedule.
We are committed to MENTORSHIP! We will help you plan programs to sharpen and add new skills to your clinical toolkit.
What we offer

- Full time employment: ~30 hrs/wk
- 3 weeks annual leave + 1 additional week for every 5 years of service, up to 6 weeks

Expectations of the position
- Valid license to practice with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
- Provide assessment and treatment for all conditions that may present to the clinic within scope of practice and skill set.
- Complete all written reports, including WSIB and MVA forms, to the standard and time frame established by the clinic.
- Adhere to standards and regulations set out by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
- Participate in all in-house learning/training opportunities provided.
- Attend relevant postgraduate education courses to expand knowledge and skill set.
Skill requirements
- Minimum standard clinical skills of a Massage Therapist
- Organizational skills.
- Good listening and people interaction skills.
- Keen sense of customer service/relations and how these fit with quality service provision.
- Willingness to expand thinking and skills as the massage therapy profession evolves.
- Computer skills to be able to efficiently create and handle Word documents, Microsoft teams and email and practice management software (ClinicMaster).
- Able to efficiently learn our clinic management software/EMR record keeping system.
